Seven months after the creation of the international ONO’U festival of graffiti in Tahiti, Tahiti New Generation presents the international exhibition ONO’U TAHITI at Le Meriden Delfina of Santa Monica from December 9 thru 16, 2014.

In collaboration with the Alliance Française of Los Angeles, ONO’U invites guests, Angelnos and travelers alike to discover a selection of the finest artworks created during of the world’s largest international graffiti competition of the year that took place in French Polynesia last May.

The exhibition in Santa Monica will feature art pieces by 10 finalists of the contest including top three winners: Mast (NYC), Berst (NZ) and Kalouf (FR) who respectively won $10,000, $5000 and $2500.

The exhibition will offer a unique opportunity to discover the island of Tahiti through photos and time lapse videos revealing the amazing mural art walk created in the city center of Papeete by some of today’s living legends of the worldwide street art scene among which MadC, Inti, Sofles, Soten, Askew, Dabs&Myla, Kem5, to name a few.

These world renowned street artists had traveled to Tahiti to take up the challenge of painting massive murals on the tallest buildings of the capital center in a time limit of just five days.
